Cheating Mum’s One Night Stand Results In Twin Boys With Different Fathers

The woman and her partner who reside in Xiamen, China are parents to adorable twin boys. Yet in a shocking turn of events, a DNA test exposed the mum’s secret affair revealing the twins had DIFFERENT fathers!

The whole fiasco came to light when the unnamed mum of two took a paternity test with her partner in 2018. It was so they could formally enrol their twins in the city’s household register, reports Mirror. But her partner was in for a nasty shock when the results showed only one of the boys was his.

A local newspaper reported that the lady’s partner had often been puzzled about the fact that his boys didn’t look alike. Though he’d never imagined he hadn’t fathered one of the twins; he wondered why one of them had a different nose, eyes and mouth. In fact, it didn’t resemble him in the least.

The results of the paternity test conducted by the Fujian Zhengtai Judicial Authentication Center in Xiamen in East China’s Fujian Province caused the couple to quarrel.

The wife even accused her partner of sabotaging the results. However, truth prevailed when the mother of two accepted to infidelity. She revealed that she had had a one-night stand with another man causing super-fecundation.

A rarity, such a case occurs when two eggs are fertilised during the same cycle by two fathers. The Authentication Center’s director, Zhang spoke of the case sharing that super-fecundation meant the woman had to have fornicated with her lover within hours or days after her husband impregnated her. It all occurred in the same fertility window, which is why they were twins.

“This is a very special case. It means that the woman had sexual relations with two men – and was impregnated by them at the same time. They’re fraternal twins. A very uncommon and rare case,” explained Zhang.

The husband has been quoted as saying-

“I obviously still want my own child, but I’m unwilling to raise someone else’s child.”

If reports are to be believed, the duo seems to have “sorted the matter out themselves”.
