It all began when officers from the Newberg-Dundee police department responded to reports of a stolen Toyota Land Cruiser. After spotting the stolen vehicle, the cops started chasing it, reports NDTV. Randy Lee Cooper, 27, who was driving the car, started speeding in order to escape. However, the police chased him around the city.

After several minutes of pursuit, Randy crashed into a car being driven by Kristin Nicole Begue, 25. Surprisingly, during the investigation, the cops learned that Kristin had been driving a car that had been reported stolen three weeks earlier, reports Fox6Now.

However, according to the police, the two thefts were completely unrelated. The suspect driving the stolen Land Cruiser has been arrested for multiple crimes, including assault,  unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and attempting to elude police.

On the other hand, Kristin was charged with driving under the influence and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. She has also been arrested. Well, this surely seems like a win-win situation for the cops. After all, they bagged the ‘buy one get one free’ offer, literally!
