MP Caught Looking At Porn In Thai Parliament Claims Someone Was Seeking Money For Food

Last year, when Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman was talking about the economic situation in the parliament, 2 MPs were caught sleeping on camera. Now, an incident from Thailand has come to light where a politician was caught watching porn!

According to Mail Online, a member of parliament named Ronnathep Anuwat was caught looking at explicit images on his smartphone during a budget reading for 10 minutes. Reporters in the press gallery managed to click pictures of him as well as the porn he was looking at. One image was of a woman with her top off, another with her lying naked on a bed and the third was a close-up of her genitals.

According to Metro UK, the house speaker Chuan Leekpai said that there were no rules set regarding this matter and no other MPs had filed a complaint against him. Furthermore, he added that the images on his phone were a “personal matter”.

The Bangkok Post reports that after the incident came to light, the MP in question said that he received a message seeking money to buy food and opened it to find a nude of an unknown woman. He looked at the photo so as to ascertain if the woman was in danger. He added that he has deleted the photo and it probably was one of his political rivals who sent the message to discredit him.
