During one such session, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman took on the opposition in a fiery speech in the Parliament when questioned about the economic status of the nation. She said there was a slowdown in economic growth but there is no recession in the country, reports Times of India.
However, her speech failed to impress her fellow MPs, some of whom were seen dozing off behind her back. As reported by India Today, Union minister for skill development, Mahendra Nath Pandey was seen sleeping peacefully till someone came from the behind and woke him up.
