Sushant Singh Rajput Donates A Massive ₹1 Crore For Kerala Floods, Thanks To A Fan Request

Kerala is going through a massive crisis after being struck by a flood that’s the first of its kind in the last 100 years. Many people have lost their belongings and houses and many others have passed away. That’s why people from all over the country and the world have come together to help Keralites to get back on their feet.

Two of the biggest contributors of this endeavour to help Kerala is the Indian Army and the fishermen. In addition to that, those who haven’t been able to help physically have done so through donations. However, many have the will to donate but don’t have the means to do so. One of them is a Sushant Singh Rajput fan.

Recently, a fan of Sushant Singh Rajput arrived on the actor’s Instagram page and put forward a simple request on how to donate for the Kerala floods.

That’s truly heart-warming.

Sushant was quick to respond to his fan. However, it was his promise that really won over everyone.

Many actors and actresses like Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Jacqueline Fernandez have donated money and sent help in every way they can. But it was quite heartening to see Sushant Singh Rajput, who was already helping the Kerala flood victims by sending medical help, donate ₹1 crore for the cause.

Sushant even went one step further and put up a screenshot of the money that was deducted and thanked the fan for motivating him enough to do this for those who need help in Kerala.

“As promised my friend, @subhamranjan66 , what you wanted to do has been done. You made me do this, so be extremely proud of yourself. You delivered exactly when it was needed. Lots and lots of love.”

The floods in Kerala has been a catastrophe and it will take a lot of time to restore the state. But if people take Sushant Singh Rajput’s example and just put out a helping hand, maybe the process will become faster and people will be able to recover from the trauma and shock that they’ve suffered. Massive respect for you, SSR. Your contribution will help a lot of people.
