Spider-Man: Far From Home hit the theatres today and Marvel fans couldn’t be more excited. The movie has Jon Watts taking on the director’s mantle and Tom Holland (Peter Parker), Zendaya (MJ) and Jake Gyllenhaal (Mysterio) in lead roles. Ever since Marvel Studios dropped the first trailer for the film, the internet has been in a tizzy.
Anticipation has been on an all-time high because we get to see events right after the Endgame (and Tony Stark’s death). Also, the trailer displayed 4 different Spider-Man suits namely – the original version from Homecoming, the iron spider suit, the all-black stealth version and a red-and-black one inspired by the comics. And who can forget Mysterio’s powerful entrance?
So how did the movie fare? Looks like the audience loved every minute of it! The CGI was a treat to the senses, Peter and Mary Jane’s chemistry was amazeballs and Mysterio came up to all the expectations with a knockout performance. The comic book references had the fandom cheering and mentions of Iron Man had everyone in tears.

A special mention for the two scenes shown at the very end of the movie because they literally took the cake. One was a mid-credits scene while the other was the usual end-credits one that Marvel is famous for.
