Single Women Reveal What Made Them Overcome Society’s Expectations Of Them Having A Partner

If we were to have a penny for every time society expects something from us, we would all be millionaires. Right from getting good grades in school, being respectful towards elders (even when they aren’t respectful towards you), getting into the ‘right’ college, choosing the ‘right’ profession, marrying the ‘right’ person, having kids at the ‘right’ time to beyond, it is impossible to keep up with all the ‘rights’ that society has set for us.

Another thing I’d like to point out is that while some women are criticized for dating, many single women are also met with unsolicited comments for choosing to not be in a relation. However, such women recently opened up on Reddit about how they managed to overcome society’s expectation of them to be in a relationship.
