Sindhu Takes Olympic Revenge By Beating Carolina Marin To Enter Semis Of BWF Super Series

We all lost a little heart when Indian shuttler, P. V. Sindhu lost Gold at the Rio Games 2016 to the two-time world champion Carolina Marin. Yes, we were jubilant when Sindhu brought home silver but God knows, she deserved better.

However, in a classic turn of tables, Olympic medallist Sindhu has finally avenged her loss and has muscled out Carolina Marin.

In a do-or-die episode, Sindhu squashed Carolina at BWF Super Series Final tournament, securing a place in the semi-finals. At the end of the third Group B match, the score board looked emphatic with 21-17, 21-13.

The former World No.1 Marin, put an aggressive front with 5-2 neck-to-neck score but Sindhu soon got hold of her nerves and thumped Marin in her game.
