Bollywood actress Richa Chadha never minces her words when it comes to trolls. Be it her candid opinions aired on social media or her bold avatar on the screen, Richa is many a time targetted by trolls.
The Article 375 actress spoke about the incessant trolling in a recent interview with TOI and said she doesn’t give a damn about them.
“No, why should I bother about some 2 rupee person who’s getting paid to write nonsense about people that they can’t reach otherwise. Half of the time it’s some attention-seeking jerk, I mean, someone too ugly to put up their face, too coward to put up their real name. Do you really think I have the time of day to take them seriously? No, I don’t.”
Richa’s recently released courtroom drama Article 375 is mired in controversies; a petitioner has also filed a case against the filmmakers for showing lawyers in . Talking about the same Richa said, “They should watch the film before they comment.”
Richa Chadha will be seen sharing the screen space with Akshaye Khanna in the film. Talking about his role in the film, Akshaye said, “It’s the juiciest role I’ve had in my career. It’s just too much material for me to enjoy as an actor and one is constantly looking for that. When one gets it in such abundance, it’s impossible to turn it down.”
“Especially if the content is sensitive and maturely written because we are dealing with a subject like that. It’s not frivolous or petty or superficial, instead, it’s deep, well thought out, intelligent and something that people will react to. But from an actor’s point of view, the juice was just too much to let go,” he added.
