It was in this interview that the actor, who returned to the theatres after a long gap of five years, revealed his long-term plan to direct films and act in them too, reported The Indian Express.

Opening up about it, the ‘Brahmastra’ actor said, “I’ve always wanted to direct and make a movie. But I’ve really not mastered the courage to write a story.”

“I’ve always waited for a story to come to me naturally. But the f**k up is that I’m not a writer, and I’m really shy when it comes to sharing my ideas with other people. But I’m working on it, and it’s something that is in my ten-year plan; to start directing movies and hopefully act in them too.”

Kapoor also revealed that next year he will be seen in Luv Ranjan’s romantic comedy which apparently will be his last romantic comedy film.

“It’s probably going to be one of the last romantic comedies I do because I’m getting older and I’m running out of ideas. That stars Shraddha Kapoor and me and is directed by Luv Ranjan.”

It was earlier reported that this untitled movie by Luv Ranjan was to be released in January 2023 but it has now been pushed to the 8th of March, 2023.

When it comes to romantic comedy movies by Ranbir, I can only remember the classic ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’. Maybe, it’s a sequel to this film. Who knows!
