Rajkumar Hirani is one of the most celebrated directors of Bollywood who has given us some of the much-acclaimed movies in recent years including ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’, ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘PK’. Hirani is all set to start his new year by starting his next movie which will be a biopic on veteran actor Sanjay Dutt. However, he seems to be in a tussle regarding the name of the movie.
According to a DNA report, director Rajkumar Hirani has come up with an unusual idea to name his biopic on Sanjay Dutt. Hirani has declared to gift a 256 GB iPhone 7 Plus, costing a whopping ₹92,000 to anyone from his team who comes up with an apt title for the movie. A source says,
“Raju appears to have hit a roadblock on the title. The film begins shooting from January and it doesn’t have a name! So now he has hit upon a novel idea to get an interesting title.”
Everyone in Hirani’s team is eligible to enter the competition from Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor to the junior-most assistant director and lightman. Answering how the competition works, the source says,
“There is a box in his office where everyone is putting in their suggestions along with their names and the box will be opened in January and the title will be chosen.”
Until the competition gets over and name for the movie gets finalised, the movie has been named ‘Dutt’. The cast and crew of the movie will be using this name until Hirani gets his perfect title.
One has to give it to Rajkumar Hirani for coming up with such a great idea to choose a title. This way, not only he get a good name for his movie, but also a lucky winner get a brand new iPhone. Win-win for everyone!
