In the real world, the magic of true love can often feel just as elusive as a unicorn. Well, while we weather the harsh reality of the pandemic, we bring to you a dreamy romance of two souls who found love in this seemingly hopeless world. Raj Ayer and Avijit Chakrovorty fell head over heels in love and it was just like in the movies!
It was love at first sight for the two, reveals India Love Project. “After the 2017 Pride Walk, my friends and I went to Café Ideal in Chowpatty when suddenly I saw this handsome man continuously looking at me and I didn’t look away. We couldn’t tear our eyes away from each other,” explains Raj Ayer.
“It was, as they say, something you can’t explain in words. And that’s when I knew this is him, my future,” says Raj.
Well, it appears it was meant to be, for Raj flew from Kutch to Mumbai and surprised his bae. It was Valentine’s Day when he showed up at his office and asked to see him. Avijit Chakrovorty invited him to stay the week so they could have quality time together. Subsequently, Raj moved to Mumbai and they began their journey together.
It was December 2017 when Avijit proposed, “We went on a little trip to Sanjay Gandhi National Park. To my surprise, he was on his knee with a ring in his hand asking me to marry him. How could I say no? We’ve lived together for three years now and are planning our marriage as soon as these COVID times are over.”
The duo are wholeheartedly supported by each of their families. They appear to have a beautiful life with the love of lots of furry pals.
