Cheteshwar Pujara’s Surprise Return To IPL 2021 Sparks Meme Fest On Twitter

Indian cricketer Cheteshwar Pujara gave a rock-solid performance in the historic India vs. Australia Test series. He has now overall played 64 T20s for 1356 runs at a strike rate of 109.35.

During the IPL 2021 auctions yesterday, Chennai Super Kings picked up Test batsman Pujara for his base price of Rs. 50 lakh, following a room filled with applause from the other franchise members present there.

The ecstatic cricketer also tweeted about the same:

As per a report in News18, Pujara last played in IPL in the year 2014. He overall played 30 matches for 390 runs at a strike rate of 99.74 with one half-century.
