Pigeon Boards GoAir Flight, Delays It By 30 Mins; Twitter Asks Will The Bird Be Banned Too?

Every now and then, flights get delayed due to unavoidable circumstances like unfavourable weather, air traffic and so on. However, there are times you have to wait longer due to mistakes that could be easily avoided. Like when a man unknowingly opened the emergency exit or when a passenger forgot their babies causing indefinite delays.

Honestly, it’s a little frustrating when such needless hold-ups happen. Like recently, a flight got delayed when a feral bird boarded a Jaipur bound aircraft. The passengers of the GoAir flight from Ahmedabad found a pigeon in their plane right before take-off, reports NDTV.

Have a look at a video shared by twitter user @prashantramwani:

Passengers started recording videos as the bird flew from one corner to the other. They tried ducking from the bird. A man even tried catching the pigeon with his hands but failed.

“Every one of us boarded the plane. When the flight gates were shut and one passenger opened the luggage shelf and was shocked to witness a pigeon,” a passenger was quoted saying by Times of India

After a lot of struggle, the pigeon was finally let out of the flight. However, passengers were not happy with the response of the cabin crew. The sudden spotting not only surprised passengers but also delayed the flight by almost 30 minutes.

“It also caused a commotion inside the aircraft, however, the cabin crew also calmed us. The ground staff was informed on this and after incessant attempt, the pigeon was ejected from the aircraft,” another passenger was quoted saying.

People even shared some hilarious tweets after the bizarre incident:

The flight, which was scheduled to land at Jaipur at 6:15 pm, instead landed at 6:45 pm. The passengers complained about the delay after the landing. Well, we hope the pigeon is okay.
