Usually when we travel, we are extra cautious about keeping our belongings safe. Especially when we are catching a flight, most of us keep ticking a mental check-list of all our things before we go on board.

And it’s really tough for new moms to travel alone with their baby on one hand and luggage on the other. There’s just too much going on her mind!

But all that said, you wouldn’t think that she was so careful about her belongings as to forget her baby entirely…

However, as rare and bizarre as it may sound, a Saudi Arabian woman forgot her baby at the airport and remembered about it after the plane took off!

The case has been reported from Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport where the Saudi Arabian Airlines flight had to return back.

The woman realised after take-off that she had left her baby near the departure gate.

The pilot was forced to turn back the flight to the airport.

A video has been making rounds on social media where the pilot can be heard requesting Air Traffic Control (ATC) operators to return to the airport.

“This flight is requesting to come back…a passenger forgot her baby in the waiting area, the poor thing”, said the pilot.

“Ok, head back to the gate. This is totally a new one for us!” replied an ATC operator.
