England closed the first day with 263-3 in 89.3 overs with Joe Root unbeaten on 128 runs, reported Business Standard. Bowler Jasprit Bumrah kept the spirits of Indians high by taking two of the three England wickets. Both the cricket teams will be again locking horns at MA Chidambaram Stadium, also known as Chepauk Stadium, in Chennai today.
