It’s been 25 years since FRIENDS first aired on television and yet fans all around the globe are still waiting for the reunion episode. And Richard agreed to marry Monica?
It would have been a total disaster, wouldn’t it? Well, according to the Mirror, things could have ended differently for Phoebe Buffay. In an interview, the hit sitcom’s co-creator David Crane revealed that Lisa Kudrow’s character could have ended up with former partner David instead of Mike, reports Huffington Post.
When David (Hank Azaria) had finally returned in season nine, he was all ready to take his relationship ahead with Phoebe. “There was definitely a possibility of that. I mean, we didn’t definitively know [who she’d end up with],” Crane was quoted saying by the Metro.
At the same time, Mike Hannigan (Paul Rudd) had realized his love for Phoebe and he proposed to her too.
“They’re both amazing actors. I mean, both Paul and Hank are fantastic, and fantastic with her. We sort of went back and forth,” he was quoted saying by the Metro. “I don’t even remember all the pieces that led to where we landed. But yeah, it could have gone the other way. Phoebe would have been great with either one”, he added.
