Recently, a dancer and social media personality named Rovi Wade found herself in soup after her neighbour called the cops on her for ‘dressing inappropriately’, said a report by DNA.
Rovi, hailing from the US, shared a video wherein she claimed that her neighbour didn’t like how much body her dresses revealed and termed it as ‘offensive’. Irked by her dressing sense, she called the cops on her.
In the short viral clip, she can be seen talking to the cops and explaining, “I am fully dressed, she just doesn’t like my style. I told her, my body offends you, that’s what the issue is, and I’m allowed to exist and be hot and I’m gonna continue to do so. I don’t know what she expects you to do.”
Her post was flooded with scores of messages from people online encouraging her to follow her heart and not pay heed to haters.
Some even shared how they’ve also experienced the same in the past.
Soon after, Rovi shared a couple of pictures, dressed like her BOMB self, in response to the person who called the cops on her “for being too damn fine.”
A while back, desi women took to social media and shared their pictures in ripped jeans responding to a politician’s regressive comments. Although people like Rovi are great at responding to their haters, we wonder how much time it will take to get rid of such mentality.
