Lately, shippers of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ romance are singing the same Jonas Brother song…. “Oh this is an SOS. Don’t wanna second guess!” Yep, the distress signal over the uncertainty of their relationship status has been sounding for quite some time now. And we’re dying for either of them to confirm if there’s a ring on the finger or not.
Recently, a video went viral, showing PeeCee exiting Delhi airport and trying to take off her alleged ‘engagement ring’ before facing the paps!
Before that, it was the ‘Nick of time’ tweet from Bharat director Ali Abbas Zafar and a report from a leading Hollywood magazine that #NickYanka had made it official with a Tiffany’s ring. That too on Priyanka’s birthday! Awww!
The couple hasn’t officially confirmed the engagement, even though fans claim to have spotted a ring on Priyanka’s finger when she joined Nick Jonas in Singapore for the Hyperplay festival.
But looks like that’s about to change!
At the Nick Jonas X John Varvatos event in New York, our soon-to-be videsi damaad might have confirmed his engagement with our desi girl!
US Weekly reports that when a fan congratulated Nick on his engagement with Priyanka, he quite graciously responded “Thanks, man!”
What’s more, he even told the media,
“(Having a family of my own) is the goal. It’s definitely something that I hope will happen. I am not sure of the exact timeline. But, I need to give my nieces cousins at some point.”
This plan of Nick’s, might I add, is perfectly in sync with Priyanka’s, who had earlier mentioned how she wants to have kids in the next 10 years, or maybe sooner because she is very fond of them!
Priyanka Chopra was conspicuous by her absence at her fiancée’s new fragrance launch, but she did manage to send him some love via her Insta story!
As for Nick, he had his brother Joe Jonas for company!
Now can we please just have PeeCee flash us a proper glimpse of that bling on her finger so we can all calm down a little?
