But sometimes, eateries enter the spotlight for tickling our funny bones or declaring something controversial like “All types of biryanis other than Hyderabadi Biryani will be referred to as Pulao.”
Reddit user u/crasshumor recently shared how Chennai based Shree Chaats Mithai and Namkeen have a food pun on their bill. It says, “Never hurt a Samosa or Kachori by saying NO… They too have fillings inside!!”

While a few laughed at the play on words, most people were distracted by the expensive items on the menu. Some remarked that the samosa chaats were a ripoff at Rs.75 per plate and the prices hurt them.
