“Don’t Discredit Homemakers,” Navya Nanda Shuts Down Troll Taking A Dig At Mom Shweta Bachchan

When you’re a public figure, you surely receive a lot of love, fame, and appreciation from your well-wishers. However, with it comes trolling, hatred and bashing too. These days star kids have been on the radar of trolls and desktop warriors and their recent victim is Navya Naveli Nanda.

Navya, who is ‘Mahanayak’ Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter and daughter of Shweta Bachchan Nanda, recently shared the link of her interview with Vogue on her Instagram. She even shared snippets from her interview wherein she talked about fighting gender inequality in India and the influence the women in her family have had on her.

While the efforts of the 23-year-old towards removing this societal malice are commendable, it was also met with a lot of negativity. Taking a dig at her mom, one of the users in the comments section wrote:

Obviously, Navya was irked by the way the user demeaned her mother. Hence, she gave the troll a befitting reply.

Navya then took the screengrab of the comment and penned in her Instagram Story, “Being a mother and a wife is a full-time job. Please don’t discredit women who are homemakers. Their role is so crucial in the upbringing of a generation that will hopefully support their contribution instead of tearing it down.”

Having said that, I would like to quote what Big B had once written in a letter addressing both his granddaughters, Navya Naveli Nanda and Aaradhya Bachchan.
