Mumbai Police Helps Dad & 5-Month-Old Son During Ganesh Visarjan, Gives Them A Ride

During Ganesh Chaturthi, as in many other religious festivals that are celebrated in India, there are massive traffic jams and the roads are packed with people who are out celebrating. It becomes difficult for people to travel to work or back to their homes and sometimes have to wait for a very long time till they get to book a cab or an autorickshaw.

A man named Aman Vora was stuck in Charni Road Station in Mumbai with his 5-month-old son because of Ganesh Visarjan. It was also raining. Not a single taxi driver was willing to give them a ride. His son was constantly crying.

To their help came Mumbai Police! The cops asked them to hop into their van and gave them a ride to their destination.

We were at Charni Rd Station and it was raining. No taxi driver was ready to come because of Ganesh Visarjan and my 5-month-old son was crying but Mumbai Police helped us to reach our destination. My sincere gratitude,” Aman wrote.

Here’s a look at a video capturing a cop driving the van and the 5-month-old infant happily smiling in the back seat:
