Like everything else, the coronavirus has also affected the way we date. There are a lot of video calls and virtual hangouts now and movie dates in cinemas are completely out of the picture. While some couples are embracing this new normal, most of us are just reminiscing about how things used to be.
Recently when Twitter user @MePurplelicious asked everyone what their idea of a perfect date was, men gave some pretty interesting answers and none of them were socially distanced dates 🙂
What's your idea of a perfect date?

Here are some of the best ones that include chai, Shinchan, gardens, beaches, and aloo ke paranthe!
Candle lit room filled white roses, soft music, red wine and favourite food. I am in black tuxedo and she is in a beautiful champagne colour gown, slow dance…..Typical classic, elegant and fairy tale kind of date.

Paisa nahi tha during school to take girlfriend on a fancy date so I took her to a park, we sat on a bench, she talked while I stared at her face like an idiot then we had that spring onion misal & to get rid of onion smell we had ice gola. We laughed a lot. It was kinda perfect.

Under the open starry skies, candle-light, on a beach, soft music playing at distant but can be heard, sound of soothing ocean waves, and her in arms!

There’s no such things as perfect date as places don’t really matter🤗 It’s the bond between the couple which makes it perfect chahe phir woh tapri ki chai ho ya starbucks ki coffee☺️

A perfect date is unplanned, on a good weather day with nothing to do and nowhere to go and you end up doing something random that you haven't done before and no time limits to go home.

Check in a resort by morning.
A cottage with a pool or a jacuzzi in it.
A scooter to go around & buy some food.
Cook it together, and enjoy it with some chilled beer or a peg of scotch. And night is yours to explore.
Come morning, have a cozy breakfast in bed.
And check out.— Nirmohi_bandey ™ (@kushalwadhwani) July 26, 2020

More than the setting, the absence of notifications on your phone and other worries on your mind; although the conversation hopefully takes care of the latter!

All we want is the coronavirus to go away so we don’t have to worry about face masks and sanitizers on dates!
