Kirron Kher Appreciates Rohit Sharma With A “Sharmaji Ka Beta” Post & Twitter Is ROFL!

With Rohit Sharma performing valiantly and brilliantly in the World Cup matches, he has the whole country cheering for him. And why not? There aren’t many batsmen who hold the feat of 5 centuries in a single World Cup. Among the long list of the batsman’s fandom, another name is that of former-actress and MP Kirron Kher.

Kirron Kher shared a post on Instagram on Tuesday, on the day of India’s first match in the semi-finals against New Zealand. While cheering for India to win in this much anticipated match, she made a special mention to Rohit Sharma, by calling him “Sharmaji ka beta” – referring to ‘the ideal son’ meme from the Internet.

“2 more games to go, which means 2 more tons from Sharma Ji ka honhaar beta,” she wrote in her post. “Put your best foot forward boys. Here’s wishing @virat.kohli and his boys all the best for the big semi final today,” Kirron Kher added.

The post received thousands of likes and fans started to chime in more appreciative comments. But with the brilliant form that Rohit Sharma is in, Kirron Kher isn’t the only one to refer to him as ‘Sharmaji ka Beta’. Sure enough, fans too reignited the ‘Sharmaji ka Beta’ jokes. Here’s the best of it-

There are still two matches to go. Rohit Sharma has already broken the record of most centuries in a single World Cup. We hope that he sets the bar even higher – #2MoreCenturies!
