Srinagar Drops To Its Lowest Temperature Of Season It’s A White Wonderful Winterland!

Winter is here! (Sorry, for that extremely generic GOT intro, but you know you’ve gotta do what you’ve gotta do.) Seriously though, it’s been one heck of a season with the white winds howling in the north (okay, I’m stopping!)

Srinagar has been facing the brunt of this winter. It saw the temperature levels drop to it’s lowest, minus 6.2 degrees.

And while I would definitely freeze to death in that weather, it does make for the most stunning photographs. The hues of the valley look like they’ve been painted by an artist and the winter wonderland is definitely a sight to behold.

1. The mist, the clouds, and the fog met at the lake like long lost friends hugging in a tight embrace.

Once bitten, twice shy and you never can trust blindly once it is violated. Shadow of doubts will loom around, insecurity will sneak in, snatching away peace and lay a kibosh on your bliss. Either you can forget everything and start new or just end the chapter itself n nvr look back. But, either of the ways, it doesn't guarantee that your trust will never br broken. You are gonna get hurt and you have to accept it. All you can do is risk the love which you have within. Which compelled you to take risks, which made you endure the suffering albeit made you so strong that you start realising yourself your happiness and most importantly, how love still exists within you. Not only in one person but how it exists in everything. Have you ever basked in sunshine n got lost in it, or snow flakes caressing ur cheeks, cherry blossoms are beaming at you and you are feeling nothing but blissful. So, trust darling, trust even when it is brutally broken. Trust in yourself that nothing can break you anymore. You have taken everything. Now, only good things are bound to happen. So, Give it a chance. Trust Once !! #travel#travelblogger#nature#traveller#winter#snow#Instagram#igers#morning#kashmir#india#travelgram#lonelyplanet#kashmirtourism#srinagar#sonmarg#gulmarg

12. Go out and spread your wings little birdy, feel the winds on your face and let the thoughts of the dreary city life fade away.

13. Like elders, the trees grew tall and wise and their leaves fell on the little hut like happy blessings.

The first snowfall, That night you came dressed in white; Like that fairy mother told me stories of, You descended upon this Earth from the moon that night. I remember the sky was darker that night, On Earth I could see the silver of the moon that night, Home had always been far I saw home in your eyes that night. !! 💖 •• : Location: Sonmarg | J&K . . I don’t know about you, but the traveler in me is itchy to pack my bags and go off to this winter wonderland (and the first thing I’d probably do is make snow fairies)! Who is up for an adventure guys?!
