Kangana Praises ‘Movie Mafia’, Says ‘Never Expected Them To Do Something Good’ Post ‘Gangubai’

Earlier this week, actor Kangana Ranaut took to Instagram stories and indirectly lashed out at Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ which was released yesterday.

In the lengthy post, she wrote that ‘200cr will be burnt to ashes’. Calling Alia ‘papa ki pari’ of a ‘movie mafia daddy’, she said that the biggest drawback of the film is wrong casting.

But probably after watching the movie, seems like her stance has changed. The ‘Manikarnika’ actor once again took to Instagram and penned her mind.

Expressing her admiration for South movies, she also penned that baby steps are being taken in Bollywood as well.

“Happy to hear theatres are being revived in South film industry with record-breaking collections. I hear some baby steps are being taken in the Hindi belt also.”

“With recent female-centric film which has a big hero and a superstar director. They may be baby steps but they are not insignificant. They will be crucial for theatres that are on ventilators here. Great.”

Surprisingly, she praised the ‘movie mafia’ in her post:

“Never expected that movie mafia will rise to the occasion and do something good. If they do we will be absolutely appreciative. Hoping for the best.”

Alia has earlier responded to Kangana calling her a ‘bimbo’. Good to see that Kangana is openly praising good work in the same way she publically slams other ills.
