Nothing’s as devastating as losing someone with whom you have spent the major part of your life. Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and his filmmaker wife Kiran Rao were also shattered when they heard about the untimely demise of the actor’s long-time assistant Amos.

According to NDTV, Amos, 60, who had been working with Aamir for the past 25 years, passed away on Tuesday after suffering a heart attack. Amos has been with the family through the good and the bad times. Aamir’s close friend Karim Hajee said that both Aamir and Kiran are devastated on hearing about Amos. He added:
“Amos worked with a superstar but was endearing and simple. He was like this to not just Aamir but everyone.”
“He put everyone at ease and was a wonderful person. He had a wonderful heart, was so bright and a hard worker. He had no major illness, his death is shocking. He died with his boots on.”
“Both Aamir and Kiran are devasted. Aamir had sent us a message and said it is an irreplaceable loss. We were so numb, we will miss him.”
Aamir and Kiran Rao also reportedly attended Amos’ funeral in Mumbai, on Wednesday.
Even, Ira Khan, the daughter of Aamir and his first wife Reena Dutta, has condoled the death of Amos who was like a family member to them.
In her Instagram story, Ira wrote:
Ira Khan who is 23, must have grown up with Amos by her side. It is heart-wrenching to lose someone this close. We extend our condolences to the friends and family of the deceased. May his soul rest in peace.
