LinkedIn is a social media platform that’s ideal for business and employment. It’s the go-to platform for both job seekers and employers. And since it’s strictly business there, several entrepreneurs, business magnates, employers, and even aspirants share their tips, tricks, and their work experiences.
Earlier, an Indian CEO faced flak online when he suggested that youngsters should work 18 hours a day.
Well, here’s another entrepreneur who failed to convince people with his interview hack. Harsimarbir Singh, Co-Founder at ‘Pristyn Care’ took to LinkedIn and listed seven interesting interview hacks that they used to filter out ‘Special Driven’ people.
He goes on to state:
His views managed to grab eyeballs online which is why a screengrab of his post went viral on Twitter.
Don't apply to work in such companies if you have even an iota of self-respect. pic.twitter.com/l9AoBZkVGq

While some backed him, others suggested that if aspiring candidates have even a little bit of self-respect left in them then they shouldn’t apply for a job in his company.
Man, forget work ethics, we need to start questioning these people's human ethics. https://t.co/32pCRrXPZo

This is crazy behaviour. Please do not normalise this. A workplace should be compassionate, non-ableist, neurodivergent. What this man is suggesting has the markings of a toxic workplace.

This is what happens when society becomes a service economy without dekulakization. Managers behave like petty kulaks out to astrotufr their serfs. https://t.co/HDloI1iXBe

Ever heard of a concept called shifts? They r usually 8 hours long and there is always someone capable enough in the shifts to handle 'emergency surgeries'.

I have worked in this company for 3 months. And this guy seriously wants everyone to work atleast 12 hours a day in the office. He used to scold/shout on the employees in front of 60-70people. I have seen some of them crying too. Sometimes I have seen him checking on employees(1)

He’s co founder of @PristynCare , a startup whose managers don’t have basic etiquettes, all they do is to blackmail their employees if their target isn’t achieved

It says a lot more about him and his company by these activities than candidates commitment and qualities

The audacity to treat people who work or want to work for you as some lesser being.

If you do this as a company, you don’t end up with rockstars, you end up with desperate people who need a job.
Proper hiring is THE most crucial part of an early stage startup, and the responsibility of the cofounders.
Don’t be this guy

Hustle, late hours, committee. All these are a requirement, for a founder/CEO and not for the employees.
Doing a job for 12 hours when you are being paid for 6 is not hustle, it’s slavery.

What kind of sadistic and selfish desire is this?! People would agree to this if they desperately need a job and not because they’re commited to your company!! This is why we need better labour laws!

Once a company staged an interview at 11 at night. I told them if I am going to work in the night shift they had to pay a night allowance extra of what we were going to discuss in the future. They were shocked as to what I am asking! 😂 I am like every company gives so will you.
