Their hearts stopped beating momentarily when it happened. They even questioned the functionality of their perfectly working phones for a second. Could it be an issue with the network maybe? Is this how it all ends? Social media aficionados today experienced one of the biggest 3rd-world problems ever. Instagram was down!… For a few minutes. I know, right? The horror!
According to reports, the photosharing site experienced a brief outage today in cities across the world, including London, San Francisco and Singapore.
And this was me when I realised the catastrophe had hit India as well:
