In every other neighbouring household, you will come across parents who will treat their sons like kids, despite them having grown into adults. They don’t give them the space or the freedom to grow, have their own individuality, take on responsibilities, and face the world’s challenges head on. They will molly-coddle their sons, cater to their every need, and travel with them wherever they go.
We call it the ‘Raja Beta Syndrome’.
Similarly, several people online have been sharing instances of seeing men being coddled by their parents. While some travel with them even when they are on work assignments, others complain about why they aren’t getting a suitable bride for their son. Here’s a look at some of the tweets:
We have guests today. Their son is a wedding photographer. He has a shoot in our town. They live an hour and half away from us. They have come with their son. They don’t leave him alone. Though he has come with a team.
They believe he will be spoilt if left alone.

Knew a family like this. The kid barely went to one odd class picnic in his entire school life. After 12th, his dad would be in the next train compartment when he went to college. Hasn’t ended well. The son now 40+ lives in a faraway, underdeveloped country, won’t come back.

Ohh I know these kind of cases. Son adult 27 , sleeping with parents, whoever marry that son, girl life will get destroyed in the end. Mother doesn’t let him do anything by himself. Father didn’t let him study in other state as that will spoil him 🤦♀️

Probably one of those kids whose parents carried the school bag till the school bus. It starts small but keeps growing till there is no point of return.

A senior officer’s wife is so attached to their only son that she used to pick him up & drop him to school, for his tennis sessions and IIT tuition classes as well. So when the son finally got into IIT, her friends teased her – Ask IIT whether there is a room for moms like you. https://t.co/GoFgatYpr6

Parents should definitely allow their sons the freedom to experience the world on their own and stop treating them like children. Don’t you think?
