Two-Year-Old Nigerian Child Rescued By Danish Aid Workers Is In The Pink Of Health Now

You may have heard of the two-year-old Nigerian child who was abandoned by his family, because they thought he was a witch, and how he was rescued by Danish aid worker Anja Ringgren Loven.

Well, recent photos uploaded by her non-profit organisation DINNødhjælp show that Hope (that’s what they named him) has been making an excellent recovery.

3. Hope has made a remarkable recovery thanks to the timely aid of Anja and her organisation

5. He gets regular grooming sessions

 

6. And regular play time

 

7. Everyone around just loves him

 

9. He loves to be read to

 

10. And does not like his storytime to be hogged

 

11. And he looks adorable AF

 

12. All the older kids love taking care of him

Unfortunately, Hope has been diagnosed with hypospadias, which is defined as ‘a congenital condition in males in which the opening of the urethra is on the underside of the penis.’ He needs help and donations have been pouring in.
