Aren’t dogs the most adorable creatures? Not only are they smart and helpful but they are very loyal too. Whether a dog is abandoned or well taken care of, it will still care for you with all its heart. They are surely the best.
Time and again we come across a story that shows how humans reciprocate the love for these furry creatures. Like recently, a woman was surprised to find a malnourished dog in her Philadelphia home when she went to grab a pacifier for her baby at 4 am in the morning, reports the Philadelphia Inquirer.
I just woke up to this puppy in my house and we have no idea how it got here. pic.twitter.com/OZMystNsZE

She immediately woke her husband up, who rushed downstairs to check on things. As all the doors and windows were closed, Sports podcast host Jack Jokinen then went through the surveillance footage of his home. This is when he realized that the wind had blown his front door wide open for several hours.
The footage showed the dog limp through their door at about 3:15 a.m. After some time a stranger yelled to check on everyone in the house and then shut the door.

“We didn’t expect it but of all the bad things that could happen when your front door is left open to end up with a sweet dog who just needs a good home,” Jokinen was quoted saying by the Evening Standard. “I mean wow this could have gone a lot worse.”

Jokinen adopted the dog and named her Suzy. He later took her to the vet to find out that she had fleas, ticks and a heart murmur among other ailments.
He shared the entire visit to the hospital in a series of tweet:
