Viral Video Shows Elephant Climbing A Tree, Plucking A Jackfruit & Enjoying His Treat

Elephants have always been one of our favorite animals! These gigantic mammals have always had great significance in Indian culture. They are smart and intelligent and are very helpful towards other creatures too. They are extremely cute and charming. Recently, a video of an elephant climbing a tree to pick a jackfruit is going viral.

The clip shared by IFS Parveen Kaswan with the caption, ‘This #elephant got talent. Climbing a tree for #Jackfruit, which they love a lot. And he is eating it so nicely. Elephants can smell ripening jackfruits from quite a distance which many a times bring them close to human habitations ‘has left netizens impressed.’

It’s a known fact that elephants love jackfruit and they can smell it from miles away. They are very determined and will do anything to get the fruit. As seen in the video the elephant first climbs the tree and uses its trunk to pick out the jackfruit that is placed high up. After the jackfruit falls to the ground, the elephant can be seen truly enjoying his treat.

Viewed over 40,000 times, the clip has garnered several reactions online. While some praised the animal for not plowing down the tree, others have called the elephant intelligent.

Another video shared by IFS Praveen shows how helping and kind elephants really are.

In the video, a baby elephant is helping a tortoise get off the road. The little creature was resting in the middle of the road, and the elephant nudged it to the side to protect it from unwanted danger.

Here’s another one that highlights an Elephant’s kindness and gratitude. In this video, a baby elephant is rescued from a ditch. The best part of the video is when the mother looks back to thank the rescuers for saving her baby.
