Dhoni Takes Down RCB In Style And Twitter Can’t Stop Clapping For Him

The Indian Premier League is always full of surprises. Due to the tournament’s kinetic pace and high stakes, cricketing fans get to see different kinds of gravity-defying catches, blistering sixes and innovative celebrations. However, one thing that has remained consistent throughout the years is Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s classic finishes. And it never gets boring.

The match between CSK and RCB featured another such finish from Dhoni. The score was huge thanks to an amazing innings by Quinton de Kock and AB de Villiers. And while Ambati Rayudu’s 82 off 53 balls made stuff easier, things were still looking unstable when CSK needed 30 runs from 12 balls. But a few wides and two sixes later, the only name that was echoing in the stands was “Dhoni! Dhoni!”.

From Ranveer Singh to Mohammad Kaif, everyone rushed to Twitter to laud Dhoni’s awesomeness and hail him as the best finisher.

1. “Legend” should be his second middle name.

2. That’s the way, Mahi ve!

3. They deserve to be laughed at.

4. This should shut the haters up.

5. From one champ to another.

6. Done! Thanks for the idea.

7. That statement should be retired forever.

8. Indeed, it’s time.

9. The King of Kings.

10. Same!

11. The one true boss.

12. Apne Paraye 2

13. Without a hint of doubt.

14. You’ve to see it to believe it.

15. Actually, we should be the ones bowing before him.

16. Is that the sequel to ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’?

17. Must’ve hurt.

18. Dhoni’s a combo of style and substance.

19. We hope it continues forever.

20. Ye shaam, Dhoni ke naam.

Every Dhoni innings has been a memorable one and this was yet another addition to his already shining roster of finishes. With many more matches to go, I hope he keeps knocking out those sixes in style and picks up the trophy for CSK one more time.
