Disabled Teen Tries To Rob Jewellery Shop Holding Fake Gun With His Feet, Watch Video

People these days are extra vigilant when it comes to protecting their businesses from thieves. From installing CCTV cameras to keeping the cash registers empty, shopkeepers try their best to keep robbers at bay.

Recently, in a bizarre robbery attempt, a disabled teenager tried to rob a jewellery store by using a fake gun in Brazil, reports The Metro. The astonishing incident unfolded when a 19-year-old teen used his bare feet to point a plastic toy gun at an employee of the shop.

The teen, who suffers from cerebral palsy, then used his feet to place a threatening note on the counter. The note was written in Portuguese and it said: ‘Hands off everything. Don’t raise attention’. A store surveillance camera captured the entire incident.

The jewellery shop employee said that the disabled teen had been in the store for about 10 minutes. He initially thought the boy was begging, reports the Mail Online. In fact, a customer had given the teenager some money as well. However, just then the teen, who can’t move his arms, pulled the gun out with his feet.

According to the employee, the pistol looked quite real. Luckily, a guy in the store saw the teen with the gun and called 911. The police arrived at the store and arrested the teenager. He was also in possession of a knife during his arrest. The case is now under investigation. Well, we’re just glad that nobody got hurt during the incident.
