Like it or not, Chinese technology seems to be becoming more and more advanced with each passing day. It seems to me like they are going to make Black Mirror a reality for us.

After their plans to use public rating for deciding a person’s social status, they have now come up with REALLY amazing technology. And not one, but two of it – much like a double dhamaka for the world.

According to a report in Popular Mechanics, Chinese police were able to get hold of a wanted fugitive with the help of their advanced facial recognition technology, amidst a crowd of 60,000 concertgoers.

Imagine – a technology SO good that it can scan and recognise the wanted face amongst SIXTY THOUSAND people!

If that wasn’t surprising enough, I’ve got more for you.

You’ve heard of smartphones, smartwatches, smart TVs and smart tablets. The Chinese have now come up with SMART ROADS. Yep, you heard it right.

A stretch of highway in China’s eastern city of Jinan is capable of charging cars. The future is here, you guys.

Needless to say, the transport business is going to be drastically transformed.

According to The Indian Express,

The road to China’s autonomous-driving future is paved with solar panels, mapping sensors and electric-battery rechargers as the nation tests an ‘intelligent highway’ that could speed the transformation of the global transportation industry.
We’ve heard of American billionaire paying to have his brain ‘downloaded’ to a computer which seems to be, although creepy, the future of advanced technology. Add this to the list of ways in which man’s genius is going to change our lives and we have a complete utopian future.
However, the debate whether technology is a boon or a bane is still on-going, right? I guess, only time will tell which side wins.
