From the era of car stereos to pen drives, I have grown up listening to old classic Bollywood songs. It took me my whole childhood to appreciate the timeless music.
Interestingly, a particular Bollywood song is so loved internationally that it has a localised version in Greece, Turkey, Middle East, Russia and China. The song is ‘Awaara Hoon’ starring Raj Kapoor. The song is so popular that people abroad sing the original version as well. Don’t believe me? See for yourself.
A Chinese man singing ‘Awara Hoon’ with his friends is putting smiles on people’s faces on the internet.

3. Fact of the day
Super! Do you remember where the tune for this came from? Many of his songs had folk tunes from Central Asia.

And to add to that fact, this song is rated the second greatest Bollywood song of all time by a BBC Poll in 2013.
Amidst this proud moment, I also found a video online where the man in the frame himself is crooning the song to his grandkids.
Psst, ladies. The cute little boy on the right is none other than Ranbir Kapoor. 🙂
