A Man In Maharashtra Was Burning Alive While People Clicked Pictures. Humanity Dies Today.

When man bites a dog, that isn’t news. When dog bites a man, that’s news.

In a country where 400 people are killed in road accidents everyday, people have become unperturbed with that kind of news. But is that the right approach to cease such calamities from happening? You and me both know the answer here. NO, it’s not.

Yesterday on the highway of Maharashtra’s Beed District, two bikes rammed into each other. One of the riders was injured while the other lay unconscious below the wreckage. The bikes then caught fire, and the man couldn’t shout because he was unconscious.

The accident couldn’t manage to stop the crowd. No one came for help. Those who came, clicked pictures, shot a few videos and posted them online. By the time police reached there, the man’s face and body was burned beyond recognition.

If we can’t help someone in need, who are we? Instead of seeing the world through our own eyes, we are looking at it from our camera lenses. What happened to humanity, what happened to empathy, what happened to compassion? What happened to us?
