Badass Bride Doing Bhangra In Her Choli and Jeans On Her Wedding Day Goes Viral

Weddings are a grand affair. Even though the prime season is long over, my timeline is blessed with at least one friend or relative announcing, planning or getting married. Just seeing that gives me nervous jitters, I don’t know how they’re actually doing it.

But then again, brides these days have become more badass than ever. Remember the Patna bride who led her own ‘baraat’? Or the bride who sported shorts instead of lehenga? That’s one way to kick those jitters away.

Another bride blessing our timelines is Rashika Yadav, who did a quick improv bhangra routine in her bridal choli and jeans.

Apart from the bhangra, she throws in some belly dancing and Bollywood moves too. Her photographer captured her dance in a video and shared it on IG.

Rashika is dancing to singer Mankirt Aulakh’s song ‘Kadar’. The video became so popular that the singer himself shared it on his Instagram account.

The photographer, Priyanka Kamboj Chopra told NDTV,

“Rashika is a trained Kathak dancer and has been learning dance for the last 16 years. On her wedding day she just couldn’t stop dancing and I decided to shoot her.”

You’ve surely seen a lot of brides dance, but there’s none like her. People are loving this bride in her ‘choli’ and jeans and her dance moves are to die for.

The video got more than 6 lakh views since the time it was posted. Priyanka, the photographer is really overwhelmed with the response to the video. She said,

“I love when my brides get famous.”

By the looks of it, it seems like I am going to be this bride on my wedding day. After all, dancing really is the best way to chase them cold feet away.
