BJP leader Tarun Vijay’s racism shocker, says “If Indian were racist then why would they live in south? South India has ‘black’ people.” pic.twitter.com/2uEW5xjc4M

After reports of racial attacks on Africans in Greater Noida caught the entire world by storm, India and Indians have been heavily criticised at the global level for their apathy towards black people in the nation.
It is a sad reality that while we Indians were oppressed and ruled by white colonists for hundreds of years and we ourselves cry foul when a racial attack takes place on one of ours in other nations, we hypocrites don’t hesitate in indulging in such discrimination ourselves.
In this video uploaded by News18, former BJP MP, Tarun Vijay denied racism in India by making racist comments on South Indians himself while appearing on the ‘Al Jazeera’ channel for a news programm. Ironically, Vijay is also the President of the ‘India-Africa Parliamentary Friendship Group’.
The MP later reacted to the incident with a series of tweets, saying that he has been misquoted. But, we’ll let you be the judge of that.
I said we worship Krishna, which literally em,ans black, we were the first to oppose any racism and were in fact victims of racist British https://t.co/kjSBSNl9w8

I feel the entire statement sas this- we have fought racism and we have people with different colour and culture still never had any racism.

Until this sick mentality of discriminating against other people on the basis of colour, race, caste etc. gets out of our minds, we can not call ourselves humans.
