2020 has been one hell of a year, literally! And, no I am not just speaking about the on-going pandemic. While being confined at home, a few people created disastrous fusion dishes that certainly didn’t make the world a better place (Or so I think😛).
Here are some of the ghastly combinations that we hope end with 2020.

1. Chocolate-Coated Fried Chicken
Yes, you read that right. Someone actually thought it was a good idea to dip succulent chicken drumsticks into melted chocolate and then deep-fry it. Needless to say, not many people were impressed with this ‘dessert’.

In this “North meets South” fusion delicacy, a person stuffed paneer in palak idli with cashews and pomegranate seeds as garnish. Whaat?! Many people called this dish a “criminal cookery experiment”.

I love experimenting with Maggi. I have added vegetables, ketchup, sauces and what not to it. But never thought someone would have pani puri with maggi. Thank God, at least both are savoury dishes & I’m assuming the result won’t be that bad tbh.

Someone actually thought it was a good idea to experiment with the already perfect jalebis. And nahi, they didn’t add some garnish to it. They added soya sauce, garlic, and bell peppers and turned it into something called “Chilli Jalebi”. Hadd hai.

5. Egg Fried Rice with coco cola
If the foodie in you isn’t enraged yet, then it will be now. Someone cooked egg fried rice with coco-cola!?! Yaar, fried rice ke sath coco-cola pi leta. This is just too much.
Messing with Biryani is a crime. And, to add Nutella to it is an unforgivable mistake. Yes, ‘Nutella Biryani’ does exist and we can’t even. Eww.

Let’s agree, Ferrero Rocher can elevate any dessert it is added to. But that doesn’t mean you can add it to savoury dishes. Manchurian Ferrero rocher. I mean, Why? How? Ugh.
