Days ago, a man pleaded to his city council to rename ‘Boneless Chicken Wings’ because he thought the name was misleading. Well, this clearly shows how foodies are emotional and possessive about their favourite dishes.
But ever since people started spending a lot of their time in the kitchen, they have been dishing out some weird food items like ‘Egg Fried Rice With Coca-Cola’ that has raised many eyebrows. Tweeple even discussed how they loved relishing on bizarre combos like ‘Strawberry Pizza’ and ‘Chai-Pasta’.
If that wasn’t enough, someone came up with ‘Chocolate-Coated Fried Chicken’ recipe.
In a video shared by a Twitter user, we can see someone dipping chicken drumsticks into a bowl of what looks like melted chocolate and then deep-frying it. Apparently, the viral video was first shared on TikTok by a user named unadelicia.

If you’re thinking, “Q Bhai, Q?”, then you’re not alone. People online were equally appalled on watching the clip.
Here’s how they reacted:

Some also highlighted how the batter wasn’t entirely made of chocolate but is a sauce known as ‘mole’.
It's not chocolate, it's mole. An indigenous Nahuatl sauce. You can't deep fry chocolate and expect it to become a solid.

It’s still gross tho, why would you fry mole on chicken? The whole point of it is for it to be a sauce. But I might also be biased I don’t like the chocolate based mole
— Señor Sazón (@SazonPapii) September 4, 2020
People saying this is mole…. it’s not. It’s clearly chocolate dipped and then fired. That’s not no mole I’ve ever seen and that’s not how you make recado (which is what we call it)

If it is in fact mole, think of the flavor of cacao which is slightly bitter not sweet with savory seasonings added.
— Anne Marie Lastrassi (@Lucky__Luciana) September 4, 2020
Maybe because it has cocoa? I mean, chocolate is basically sweetened cocoa.

You can’t do that tk mole either .. dude it’s tik tok it’s edited and it’s most definitely chocolate
