The era of the original Avengers is well and truly over. MCU’s Phase 4 does not feature The Hulk or Iron Man. We will see Black Widow’s origin story though. The mantle of Hawkeye will be taken over by Kate Bishop, Sam (The Falcon) will wield Captain America’s vibranium shield and Jane Foster will save the world with Mjolnir as Mighty Thor.
While we’re definitely excited about things to come, can we really forget the Earth’s mightiest just because they aren’t with us anymore? Nope, we still love them 3000. Which is why we’re still curious about alternate endings and deleted scenes from Avengers: Endgame.
This one, in particular, is included in the Blu-ray/DVD version to be released on 13 August and shows what happened right after Tony Stark snapped his fingers and sacrificed himself. Take a look.

Hawkeye, Black Panther and Captain Marvel take a knee and bow their head as a mark of respect for their former teammate. Then the others follow suit with the exception of past Gamora. Unfortunately, the directors Joe and Anthony Russo did not include the touching scene in the film. USA TODAY quoted them saying,
“It’s a beautiful scene with moving performances, but we filmed it prior to Tony Stark’s funeral. The funeral scene ultimately became a more resonant and emotional reflection on Tony’s death for us.”
After watching this scene there was not a dry eye in the house and Marvel fans cried buckets all over again.
why they delete this, this is so much better

I love this 3,000. They should’ve kept this in. pic.twitter.com/u6voUizwKH

Now that you know, which scene would you have preferred to make the final cut – the tribute on the battlefield or the funeral at the lakeside cabin? Scratch that, we think BOTH of them should’ve been included!
