Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is one of the latest celebrities to have been tested positive for the novel coronavirus. He took to his official Twitter account on Sunday to inform everyone about the same:

Post his social media health update, people online were keen to point out how he is the brand ambassador of Dabur Chyawanprash that marketed itself as providing “protection against COVID-19”. They questioned him as he had previously featured in the Chyawanprash advertisement which claimed that “according to a clinical study conducted across 5 centres”, the product helps consumers to increase immunity “with 2 spoons of Chyawanprash daily”.
Desi Twitter questioned whether the efficacy tests of the product were fabricated, or if Akshay Kumar consumed the product at all.
