Inside Aditya Narayan & GF Shweta’s Dreamy Wedding At ISKON Temple, See Visuals

Singer-host Aditya Narayan tied the knot with longtime girlfriend Shweta Agarwal on December 1, 2020. From the initial days of his mother convincing Shweta to go out with him, to looking stunning together at their Tilak ceremony, it has been an 11-year long journey for them.

As per a report in TOI, the wedding was held at Mumbai’s ISKON temple and was attended by 50 guests keeping in mind the coronavirus restrictions. Several photos and videos from the occasion have surfaced on social media. Check them out, especially Aditya and Shweta twinning in their ivory gold attires:

Aditya expressed his happiness saying, “Shweta and I are finally married now. It feels like a dream, which has come true.”

Aditya added, “I can’t imagine spending my life with anyone else, but Shweta. She has helped me become a better version of myself, she is someone with whom I can be myself.”

He said, “Keeping COVID-19 restrictions in mind, we had to settle for a small wedding. We can invite only close family and friends, since Maharashtra does not allow more than 50 guests at a wedding. It will be a very simple temple wedding and a small reception after that. Can’t call too many guests because of Covid. It will mostly be a family affair with a few friends from the film television and music fraternity whom I must invite.”

Aditya exclaimed, “My parents are really happy. It was nice to see my father dancing at the wedding.”

Father Udit Narayan said, “My son Aditya is getting married on my birthday and that is the biggest gift to me. This journey has been wonderful so far. I had struggled a lot and God has really blessed me. Whatever I got, is due to him.”

Udit revealed the stream of congratulatory messages that have poured in, saying, “I received a letter from PM Narendra Modi shubhkaamnaon ke liye. I also got a letter from Amitabh Bachchan ji sending wishes on behalf of the family. The Governor of Maharashtra also said, ‘ Zaroor koshish karenge aane ke liye’.”

Disclosing his upcoming plans for the reception, Aditya said, “Shweta and I will dance to the song ‘Pehla Nasha’ at the function. It will be a small function again, but we will make it a memorable one.”
