A Guy Went On Live TV To Request A Woman To Unblock Him, Journo Promotes The Misogyny

There are two types of journalists across the country. Those, who risk their lives to report the truth, and the others who end up humiliating the entire media fraternity with their unprofessional and ‘facepalm’ reporting.

This time around, people online have been criticizing one of the sought-after news channels for promoting and hyping misogyny.

So, Aaj Tak was hosting a show with some cricketing experts that also included Suresh Raina. Their managing editor Vikrant Gupta was reporting the celebrations on the ground after India defeated Bangladesh in the ongoing Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup championship.

And while he was interacting live from Australia with the anchor at the newsroom along with the guests, one man from the crowd comes on the camera and asks the people around to request a girl to unblock him.

Revealing the woman’s name who had blocked him FOUR years ago, the random man says, “4 saal se ek ladki ne block kara hua hai, naam hai Varsha. Ek baar keh do Varsha unblock kardo.”

To this, another guy comes and requests the journalist, “Aap ek kaam kardo, humarey bhai ko Varsha dila do.” And now, everyone including the journalist is making fun of it. For God’s Sake!

If this wasn’t enough, the journalist paused and repeated the entire situation patiently and requested the woman to unblock the guy.

Watch this gem here:

Evidently, and rightfully so, people online were pissed with what they just saw and wanted to block the news channel immediately.

And what’s with men saying ‘Varsha dilado’, koi market me mil rahi cheez hai kya jo dila dega tera bhai? Men sometimes blow my mind with their intelligence!
