Smonday.
It’s more of a feeling than a word. The precise moment when Sunday stops feeling like a Sunday and the anxiety of Monday kicks in. It happens when I’m catching up on the latest episode of The Walking Dead or re-watching Game of Thrones over the weekend. And I suddenly remember that the humdrum of work-life is about to begin soon. If only I could get paid for binge-watching TV.
Oh wait, I could. You could too! Now TV (a UK based streaming service) is offering £35,000 which is INR 32 lakhs approx to simply watch television for a year.
Stop whatever it is you’re doing and check this out
How about the chance to win £35,000 to watch Box Sets for an entire year? We’re serious, just ask @joeldommett! 🤑

Why are they paying this kind of money?
The company’s Marketing Director, Emma Quartly, reveals: “Our research found one in seven Brits spend their holiday catching up on telly and 40% say TV helps them escape and relax, so in the depths of winter, we wanted to take duvet days to another level with the first ever TV streaming sabbatical.”
What’s the catch? Is everyone eligible?
It seemed too good to be true so I went through the Terms & Conditions. Unfortunately, there is a catch. “Entrants must currently live in the United Kingdom and be a United Kingdom resident.”
Oh well, for now, let’s hope something like this is offered in India very soon. And enjoy the entries sent by netizens.
I tip my hat to you

The force is with her
I think I qualify as I'm just a little prone to getting a teensy bit excited about epic TV shows ⬇️ and tend to apply myself fully to the experience! Oh and I'm completely bobbins which I believe also helps…#YesIDidMakeTheCostumeMyself #TheWigIsLikeAFurnace #BoxSetSabbatical pic.twitter.com/hIrz6DKTYA

Adorable
I'm just a pug who is passionate about TV. Favourites are AHS, GoT, Breaking Bad, Gilmore Girls, Buffy, … Soft spot for horror. Pick me, binge watching is my destiny and I want to make my mama proud (totally failing at guitar). Yours sincerely – Giles #boxsetsabbatical @NOWTV pic.twitter.com/C5SftlnTgx

Until another exciting job opportunity comes along, I’ll be writing a letter and trying to win a dream house. This one doesn’t have a catch 🙂
