Here’s the story of Megan Sullivan.
In the matter of one month, the lightening struck thrice in her life. 1st she fell 50 feet, climbing in Yosemite, then she got hit by a car and lastly she was diagnosed with skin cancer.
Damn.
So what do you do when the world around you is falling apart? You see it, while you have the chance. Which is exactly what this director/producer and photographer did.
She took off with fifteen flight tickets, 10 days of planning and 13 days to discover.
She didn’t go along, she brought along the guy she’d been dating for 2 weeks, after all we all need a travel companion to share stories with!
She started with Chichen Itza in Mexico
Then made their way to Machu Picchu, Peru
They met little baby Jesus in Rio, Brazil.
High fived a few gladiators in the Colosseum, Rome.
And then travelled into the world of Indiana Jones in Petra, Jordan.
They posed with the Taj Mahal in India
Then they walked atop the Great Wall of China
Thus completing a journey of a lifetime!
Maybe one day, each of us will be inspired enough to do exactly that, because in the end, you’re not going to be taking your payslips to your after life.
You’re going to be remembered for how you’ve lived.
