11 YO Bihar Girl Donates ₹11K From Her Piggy Bank Savings To Help Patna Flood Victims

The condition of Patna due to incessant rainfall remains unresolved. Large parts of the city are still submerged even though rainfall had stopped 4 days back, reports NDTV. Recently, a student of NIFT did a photoshoot amidst flooded streets claiming to spread awareness of the city’s condition. As it was seen, the city has become a “living hell” for locals.

Amidst such chaos, an 11-year-old girl was moved by the misery of her fellow locals and donated her piggy bank savings of a total of Rs. 11,000 for flood relief, reports The New Indian Express.

The girl, Shreya Siddhi, is a native of Samastipur district in Bihar and she donated the money which she had saved for a long time in her piggy bank on Thursday.

According to The Bihar Post, the girl donated the amount to MP Pappu Yadav and asked him to distribute the money among hapless residents.

Netizens are showering the little girl with love and are lauding her for her contribution towards the society.
