Yesterday’s India-Pakistan match will go down in history as one of the most amazing games played between the two countries. India was unsuccessful in bringing the ICC World Champions Trophy home. Pakistan, who defeated us by 180 runs, put up a splendid fight.
At the end of the day, the onus is on us to realise that it’s just a game. You win some and you end up losing some. Thus, ICC World Tournament was special for team India, for so many reasons. We saw Yuvi play his 300th ODI. We saw Virat make the fastest 8,000 runs and we had plenty of wonderful wins. Team India, toiled hard to reach the gamefinals and we are proud of each one of them.
Virat Kohli, celebrated the wonderful game in the spirit of true sportsman. After the game, he spoke to the media and said that he was really proud of his boys.
Virat Kohli -” I have a smile on my face bcoz i am proud of how well we played throughout the tournament” Spoke like a King @imVkohli??pic.twitter.com/XuCTqhu63K

Virat also took to Facebook to post this picture and wrote –
Congratulations to them on winning the ICC Champions Trophy 2017.
Any game, by its very virtue, intends to bring people together. And Virat’s smile and his speech, did exactly that. In a press conference, our skipper also said –
His fans from this and the other side of the border, applauded him for what he said! Twitter was joyous that our 28-year-old captain understands that cricket is a gentleman’s game and lives up to it.

People will say many things, but the grace and class Virat has shown in defeat, can only be the work of a true sportsman. His modest attitude speaks tons about his love for the game. We are pretty sure, India is going to come back in full-swing and reach to the top, just like that.
And where’s the fun, if you don’t have tough competition?
No matter what others say. We stand by you and the boys, Virat.
